The brief. ClassZ is a learning platform built around live classes, where experts teach and a city becomes a campus. Its manifesto is a long written text. The ask was a film of it for the website and social channels, addressed at once to Gen Z and Millennial learners, to the experts and hosts who teach, and to partners and investors. Serious, corporate in its finish, elegant, engaging, with no gimmicks and no bounce. The rule. Everything official. The ClassZ logo used whole and untouched, never redrawn, Inter as the only typeface because it is the only one on the site, the colours and gradients read from the site's source code, its icons and photos, and even its reveal easing. Glass and light were allowed as rendering treatments only, adding no colour, no font and no shape. That rule is set out in the charter below, written before a single frame was animated, with every option compared in animated demonstration. The answer. The manifesto was condensed to its essential lines in six acts, from a stance and an ambition to the rebuild of the old model and the founder's signature. One line in the official gradient is born from a point of light in the first frame and never leaves the film. It underlines, swells into a ribbon of light, links people, breaks and rebuilds, braids the two generations together and leaves the frame at the end. Each scene hands it to the next at the same position and speed, so it reads as one line travelling screen to screen. Frosted glass wipes mark the changes of act, and liquid glass is used once only, on the word where the old model is rebuilt. The founder, Wala Kasmi, gets the one held frame of the film. No voice. The film runs on a music bed, with every cut and reveal set on the beat grid and the full section returning exactly as the logo lands. Two masters. The vertical version is not a crop of the horizontal one: each of the thirteen scenes is recomposed for 1080 by 1920, with the text kept out of the zones the platforms cover, and the same timings to the hundredth of a second.
