XR (AR/VR/MR)
Extended reality rooms and environments, designed around what the space can physically do.
XR works when it is grounded in a real room. We design immersive rooms and environments where the digital layer extends the physical one rather than sitting on top of it. For SPECTRUM at Studio B3, FMRXR authored the XR immersive room inside a 500 square metre exhibition built as a gradual ascent toward light, alongside more than fifteen Tunisian artists and designers. For Ooredoo, augmented reality and generated 3D content made an invisible network legible in a crowded venue. For DREAMING AGAIN at WILDE Paris, artificial intelligence turned an artist's recycled glass into a surface a machine could read. The brief we answer best is not technological. It is spatial: what should this room be able to do that it cannot do today.
- ▸Immersive rooms sized and specified for the actual venue
- ▸Digital layers that extend the physical, not cover it
- ▸Work shown in institutional and gallery contexts
- ▸Mixed reality, AR and real-time 3D as appropriate to the brief
